About Lano
Lano is an application for managing incoming or outgoing invoices and payments. The software can organize customers, freelancers, and projects. Contacts are also managed in a database and categorized based on user criteria.
Freelancers, service providers, and other businesses can automatically create invoices with integrated templates. The system monitors payments and provides payment reminder options. Lano also allows freelance workers to send invoices directly to the business and bill payments can be executed with a single click.
Lano is particularly suitable for employment agencies, self-employed workers, freelancers, and small businesses. The application records working hours that serve as the basis for invoicing. Lano also maintains to-do lists and timesheets to structure work processes. The application also features an intelligent tool for budget planning.
It allows project costs, total expenses, and planning individual items in real-time. The database stores contacts of partners and freelancers with their respective skills. It is possible to create teams with desired characteristics and directly assign orders through the database.

Pros
I was tired of keeping track of which client owes me money. That days are gone with Lano. I am always aware of where I stand financially.
Cons
I would love to have a bridge between Lano and Toggl to automatically charge my design hours to my recurring clients.

On searching for a EOR partner we had various conversations with different businesses offering similar services at different stages of maturity in their own company lifecycles. Lano albeit the youngest, and earliest stage company but the one that stood out the most to us for various reasons such as customer service, cost, flexibility and values. Being an early stage start up ourselves we where really looking for a partner that shared similar values to our businesses and that could offer the support and flexibility a young business like our requires. From start to finish the Lano team where proactive, responsive, professional and most importantly flexible - they really understood us and our needs. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] have been nothing but amazing, constantly going above and beyond to ensure we have the support we need and we are receiving nothing but exceptional service from the platform and their partners.
Pros
We use both Lano as a Global Employment Platform as well as a Management platform to manage our freelancers across. Not only does Lano help us to access diverse talent across the globe, it helps us to do this in inexpensive and manageable way. I like to describe Lano and their global employment partners as our HRBP without the huge overheads.
Cons
The only features I feel are missing come more from the freelance/contractor management platform side of the software. We also employ freelancers from around the globe so similar to having the compliance/labour law market knowledge on the EOR side of things through their partners such as Capital GES it would be great to have this potential offering maybe on on the freelancer side of things or pre-vetted partners they can recommend that can provide legal counsel that we can access through the platform i.e. check that the contractor/freelancer has all the compliant business insurance etc.
