Electrum is a bitcoin wallet which enables merchants to accept cryptocurrencies across websites through SSL secure payment requests. It allows users to securely store and encrypt private keys, set up phrases to recover funds, and export private keys to external systems.
The platform lets businesses perform identity checks, protect data from malware attacks, and verify historical transactions using simple payment verification (SPV) technique. It offers a variety of other features such as offline access, payment processing, two-factor authentication (2FA), and more. The application also helps professionals split the permission to spend bitcoins across multiple wallets. Pros
Electrum is an excellent Bitcoin-only wallet. It is safe, fast & free to use. It is great for any company as it's open-source software.
Cons
Electrum needs a lot more enhancements The software only supports Bitcoin. The UI is very complicated for beginners. CRM needs more development.

Electrum, a multi-platform crypto wallet

Pros
Free, easy to install, available for many platforms (PC, Mac, Android, iOS).
The User Interface is not very fancy or eye candy, but it's enough and easy understandable, even for beginners.
Cons
a HUGE ONE : Electrum doesn't use standard BIP39 seed generation.
It means:
1) if you lost your device, you will have to re-install Electrum (and only Electrum) to recover your tokens with your recovery phrase,
2) you cannot recover your wallet on different devices/software (Ledger, Trezor...) using your recovery phrase

For me, of all the cryptocurrency platforms, Electrum is definitely the one I feel most secure with and will definitely recommend. In my opinion it can certainly be a bit more complicated if it guarantees security.
Pros
Electrum really gives me the feeling that my crypto coins are safe. For me personally, the whole recovery seed process has quite something mysterious, and I'm pretty sure no one can get to my wallet.
Cons
On the other hand, it wasn't immediately easy to set up the account and figure out how to create different wallets and distribute my coins among them, that took quite a bit of time and effort. The customer service was helpful in guiding me there, but I probably wouldn't have managed it myself.
