With keeping track of inventory within Limble, the program will automatically flag items and create a task to refill and restock the part when it does. The issue comes with the reception of parts and needing to in turn complete those tasks after the fact of the count returning to above the threshold within the system's own reception feature. If left uncompleted by mistake, then Limble will fail to generate a new task for the next time an item dips below the minimum threshold and can cause miscount issues. As such the system does not support anything regarding planning and scheduling of work orders. Work orders does not have different status', you cannot have different dates for when orders are planned, kitted, due etc., you cannot manage/schedule work in any smart way (yes, they have an overview, but nothing that works). It is basically a solid platform for capturing new work requests and also closing out work. But anything in between (the planning and scheduling of work) will need to be done outside the system. They need to hire some folks from the real world (not software people) that understands maintenance and then build the system out for planning and scheduling > > Average. Its a bit superficial of a system that only covers submission of work and closing out work.
