Inexpensive option but meant for smaller organizations

Pros
Easy to integrate with biometric timeclocks. Employee self-service portal was highly functional and accessible from any mobile device. Able to create different locations, departments, and titles for reporting purposes. Able to set up multiple pay rates for employees (ex. shift differentials).
Cons
Meant for a smaller organization, so it did not really scale well as our organization grew. Did not have any other HRIS features (such as applicant tracking or onboarding), so we ended up with many disparate systems that resulted in entering each employee into several different systems.

In the beginning, my first couple years I was very happy with US Payroll. Then that company was bought out. Experience not so great, see above.
Pros
Originally with our 1st contract the pricing was stable and steady. We have 2 payroll employees getting paid once a month. Every year or so they raise my rate without warning. I then have to call and have them research the increase. They then do reduce it a bit. I feel that the year end pricing is quite high, once again, for 2 employees (24 checks per year). I called yesterday regarding this, was told management will be told and I would get a call back. Have not yet received a return call
Cons
Have not had a constant representative, seems that my original rep is out a lot. Have difficulty getting to my quarterly reports, have had to call several times to get my information.

The product is great, but overall service is horrible. We have been waiting for months for a file that we have been told is complete when I followed up (they did not reach out to me) but nothing is out there for us to run. No one seems to know what anyone else is doing or what is going on and the lack of communication is awful. Also, signing up companies and providing employee data to a 3rd party without our knowledge or approval, in some sort of 'opt out' product that we NEVER received anything on to even opt out of it, is ridiculous.
Pros
The software is easy to use, we like the ability to easily maneuver in the system.
Cons
Customer Service and lack of sense of urgency on items being completed. Pricing being increased without knowledge or adhering to our price lock agreement and then pulling teeth trying to get it corrected. Constantly are overbilled for W2's, no one can seem to get the pricing correct in there for us. Lack of response from anyone there. Lack of follow up when asking and paying for custom reports, takes over 2 months to get one file created that we need.

Pros
We are using 7i Nucomp payroll which very confusing, but I Figured out what I was doing and you understood it was great. Easy to work with Jodi. She's very pleasant and helpful and forgiving when I make mistakes.
Cons
Old comment: When you closed the local office. That transfer was very frustrating but now it's fine.
