About baramundi Management Suite

baramundi Management Suite is an IT asset management software designed to help businesses manage and protect endpoints across multiple corporate networks. Administrators can track application usage and manage licenses on a unified interface.

The platform enables managers to back up and restore data and deploy updates for various third-party applications. baramundi Management Suite allows teams to monitor and track the status of tasks to control endpoints. Supervisors can also detect simple network management protocol (SNMP) printers and visualize network topology on a centralized dashboard.

baramundi Management Suite lets stakeholders identify unused software, secure information, and monitor power consumption across endpoints.

Despite the Cons I mentioned, it is a fantastic program. As I said, the Tech Support team is fantastic. baramundi has raised the bar of our network security to a significantly higher level.

Pros

Gives visibility into areas that were not even monitored before. Eg. vulnerabilities on endpoints. Allows visibility into machine in general, patches needed, vulnerabilities, what software is on the machine, and many others

Cons

It is somewhat difficult to setup and learn how to use it. If it had not been for the onboarding team, I would have been very frustrated. Another area is documentation. Getting help from documentation is trying at best. Many of the videos are in German, but there are no subtitles or English versions.

old product was not effective in patching machines, and tech support was really difficult to deal with.

Reasons for Switching to baramundi Management Suite

Main reason was that the Tech Team was in the US, and very accessible. Product was really impressive, had many more features, but was approximately the same price as competitors.

The ease of use and the managed software.

Cons

Some functions have to force a user to to log off when a pc is locked to run a job.

OS Cosomization tool and all the options that are available in the tool

The new Patch Management module. There are companyes on the mark that still providing patch management like to old Baramindi Patch Classic Module

Cons

application updates should be automatic as its available online, rather than pushing it all from baramundi
