Partfiniti is a cloud-based quoting platform, which helps businesses automate the creation of quotes and generate part numbers and pricing for various product configurations. Professionals can list price, contract price, quantity discounts, compensations, and several other factors while selecting a suitable price for a specific quote.
The platform offers a host of other features such as contact management, BOM element templates, messaging, data import, custom URL generation, role-based permissions, opportunity tracking, and more. It includes a tool, Partinator, which lets manufacturers search and locate the required parts for customers. Every part number is displayed on a separate web page with details, specifications, images, and downloadable datasheets.
Supervisors can use the quote reports to determine the forecast by customer, region, location, or user. Partfiniti’s Kwotinator solution enables administrators to set up pricing rules and create specific pricing for projects with multiple jobs. Using the BOMinator tool, employees can prepare a list of materials and quantities for a project, calculate labor time, and add multiple customers to a single bill.

The system makes the quote process extremely easy for both tenured and new employees. We can get a quote out to customers very quickly because we no longer need to set up a part number in our software before sending the quote. Simply typing in one of our part numbers into a quote and the description and cost/price/margin are instantly calculated and added to the quote.
We can also import an excel file with a list of part numbers so we don’t have to type them in one by one and no template is needed.
Pros
We have over 100 Billion part numbers and the Smart Part Number Quoter handles them all without a problem. It now takes us a fraction of the time it used to take to send a quote to our customers.
Cons
We would love to have a Salesforce integration, but I think that is coming soon. Updating cost of materials was a bit cumbersome at first due to the complexity of our business. We are now working towards streamlining that process and making it easier.
