About DataGrip

JetBrains DataGrip is an integrated development environment for working with databases and SQL. It is designed to help users write and save queries, view data, import or export data, and perform all the work needed with different databases in one user interface. DataGrip supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB and more.

DataGrip helps users code faster: it analyzes your database structure, stores it in a cache, and provides you with smart coding assistance and code completion. DataGrip is mainly used by database developers whose main language is SQL – working with stored procedures, reports, large queries, etc. – and analysts in various fields who work with data, business, and marketing analytics.

Key benefits of DataGrip

- DataGrip provides context-sensitive code completion, helping you avoid bugs and write SQL code faster.
- DataGrip supports a large number of databases.
- DataGrip has great technical support and gives its users the ability to add their own feature requests – you can create an issue or vote for someone else’s, influencing the DataGrip backlog and feature set.

Datagrip provides a great experience to work on the database. And its's reduce a lot of time of development.

Pros

It's a good software tool to write queries and create databases and tables. previously we used Postgres compare to datagrip it's quite good. Because of datagrip backup the queries in a history. and the simple interface to using the database is great. And some shortcuts are very useful to improve the development time.

Cons

Fetching the table suggestion is not great because we have to refresh sometimes. and also they have to improve to performance of IDE overall.

Cons

Pricing can be expensive for smaller companies.
