PLM Components is a collection of several 3D modeling tools that aim to increase the value of CAD, CAM, and CAE applications available in the market. The primary objective is to drastically reduce costs while also limiting the risk of potential errors. A set of six tools is made available to three-dimensional modeling professionals.

Kineo, for example, aims to simplify trajectory planning. Thanks to powerful algorithms developed by Siemens, Kineo is also able to detect the risk of high-speed collisions. D-Cubed aims to improve the management of assembly parts. It too is able to calculate collisions and thus contribute to motion simulations. This module is optimized for creating all kinds of objects ranging from everyday consumer goods to aircraft engines. D-Cubed is only limited by the imagination of its users.

ED Parasolid is another available component. It is optimized for product design, simulation, and manufacturing. ED Parasolid has a large number of features intended to speed up the work of designers while reducing the number of potential errors. PLM Components can be ordered by any company, whatever its size.
