Microsoft Lists

About Microsoft Lists
Microsoft Lists is a productivity software that helps businesses create lists using built-in templates to track information and manage work tasks. Administrators can add comments and reminders to track important tasks across shareable lists.
The platform offers a conditional formatting feature, which enables managers to highlight specific details and configure form elements on a unified interface. Microsoft Lists allows teams to visualize data across recent and favorite lists and set up rules to collaborate with staff members on different items. Supervisors can also utilize lists as a data source to build custom productivity applications and add automation functionality.
Microsoft Lists lets stakeholders filter itineraries based on session codes, event names, speakers, status, and session type and export data in XLS format. Operators can also create personalized lists using grids, calendars, galleries, and custom views on a centralized dashboard.

I use it to keep track of a number of items. I keep a list of gift ideas for my wife on there too. Any time she mentions she likes or wants something I jot it down.
Pros
I like how easy to Android app is to use. It's fast too. I create all sorts of lists. I keep a list of blog ideas. Anytime I think of an idea for an article I open the app, jot down a quick note and move on with my life.
Cons
It's a simple app that does its job well.

Lists is worth the learning curve
Reviewed on 2024/12/19
Pros
Lists has got to be the most underrated app available in the 365 suite. Few colleagues I speak to even know it exists - but it can do so much! If you are tracking data or managing processes with Excel, Lists is a great solution to make your data more stable and functional. There are so many integration and automation options to increase functionality. Having IT expertise helps take it to the next level (Power BI dashboards, etc.) but even just the basics are worth checking out.
Cons
The interface is a bit clunky and there is definitely a learning curve, but it's worth it. Take the time to learn about all the features and how to leverage it, and then build capacity within your organization to leverage what it can do.

We use it both to track our progress and to-do's, and as a database of the items we developed.
The list and kanban view are really useful but it lacks variety of views
Pros
It is easy to set up and allows you to share your progress with your team seamlessly
Cons
Its capabilities, compared to otheralternatives in the market are limited. Setting reminders is a whole task by itself.
