AWS Config is a configuration and vulnerability management software that helps businesses manage continuous audits, operational troubleshooting, compliance monitoring, and more from within a unified platform. It allows staff members to automatically send updates of all configuration changes including resource updation, creation, and deletion.
AWS Config enables team members to codify compliance requirements, deploy compliance rules, and automate configuration assessment processes. The resource relationship tracking tool lets users automatically discover, map, and track AWS resource relationships. With the aggregated dashboard functionality users can view and track rule compliance status for enterprise-wide applications across multiple accounts and regions.
AWS Config comes with an API, which lets users integrate the platform with several third-party solutions.

AWS setup was extremely helpful throughout managing our online project as well as keeping everything neat and centralized.
Cons
It can be a bit difficult at first to get used to, the documentation is so detailed, otherwise I like everything.

Pros
As a product manager, my AWS Config journey is makes me better to understand my product and its working environment. Helped me to learned metadata structure, configurations and relationships over events.
Cons
Learning curve is huge if you are not a technical user. Documentation really helps but also you gonna need an engineer to walkthrough with you. Simplified version for non-tech users should be handy.
