Pros
I love the functionality. As a biller, it is very user friendly and allows for good organizational process for claims follow-up
Cons
I don't love that the patient's date of birth isn't visible on the insurance profile screen. You have to go back to the patient or encounter dashboard to see this info. I feel like the DOB should be on the header of each screen along with pt name.

Positive, it integrates with our EMR and our clearing house. The support we have gotten from Eye MD is incredible.
Pros
It is intuitive and user friendly. My staff utilizes it every minute of every day and it has improved our patient flow and patient care.
Cons
The billing integration was slow to start but Eye MD has helped us in getting it up and running smoothly.

OpenPM is the single largest ongoing problem in my office. I am unable to bill effectively. I do not trust the software or it's representatives. Have many lost claims as a result. OpenPM is an expensive mistake.
Pros
Nothing! I can't think of a single good thing to say.
Cons
As above - simply does not work. I was able to get very few claims through without HOURS of troubleshooting. No immediate tech support available to resolve issues. Responses to requests for help are typically delayed 24 to 48 hours. Support has frequently able to resolve the issues in the short term, but is unable to identify the root problems to prevent the same issues from occuring repeatedly. OpenPM staff typically tries to shift blame to my staff - claiming I am not enrolled with insurers, that EDI links have not been set up, that ERA agreements are not in place, etc. All of this is easily verifiably not true.

I absolutely love using OpenPM! The software is incredibly user-friendly, yet packed with so many powerful features that make it stand out. From the intuitive interface to the abundance of tools and capabilities, it has everything I need to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
Their customer support is phenomenal—always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. It's clear that they prioritize their users’ success.
Most importantly, Open PM has been a game-changer for my company. It has not only simplified our workflows but also contributed significantly to our growth. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I love the support I get from Open PM, and I love how they are always upgrading the software. Open PM truly listens to our needs in a software and has made improvements based on our needs or ideas.
