EventCreate is a web-based ticketing and event management solution that helps businesses create, promote and manage their events. EventCreate provides an interface that businesses can use to easily upload data to sell tickets on the website, collect information from potential attendees, measure and monitor the performance of each event using a centralized dashboard and utilize templates to save time when creating new sites.
With EventCreate, companies can quickly customize websites with any template of their choosing by adding images, text, and videos from the WYSIWYG editor. Once published, business owners can track ticket sales and other metrics in the dashboard live view, view reports on visitor activity such as where visitors come from and what pages were viewed most often, share event details across social media platforms like Facebook, and send emails to visitors based on groups created in the dashboard.
It also lets users add affiliate links to sites like hotels or airlines to drive traffic back to dedicated domains; create check out pages with questions for gathering contact details like phone numbers or email addresses, design unique URLs for each event with unlimited subdomains, offer discounts codes during the ticket sales period, and merge checkout page data into Salesforce lead tracking software.

I was looking for an easy way for people to respond to an invitation for an event and this has definitely fit the bill.
Cons
Some of the layout and set up took a little longer to navigate and I wish that the website page was a bit easier to customize, but EventCreate was the easiest and best of the possibilities I found

Terrible Customer Service

I signed up because they offered a free trial
Cons
The company charged my credit card for a full year subscription before the trial period was over.
When I complained they only offered a partial refund equal to a half a year membership for JUST A FEW DAYS OF USE. A company rep by the name of [sensitive content hidden] said "... we can't give the software out for free. Since you did use the software, which incurs a direct cost to us"
But they DO offer the software for free because they have a free trial period. If they did incur any expenses, it was pennies.
They claim to have over a million users yet want to charge someone like me who used their service for a few days a full year's membership. Are they hurting THAT MUCH to be so willing to rip me off?

Overall, Eventcreate was a better option for hosting our event website than their main competitor Eventbrite which had a number of fees that would have cut into our operating costs.
Pros
I very much liked the customization options and ease of creating a presentable professional event website within a few hours!
Cons
The only downside of Eventcreate was the lack of subscription options. A cost for a single event page or for a short term need would have been useful as I do not anticipate using the site creator outside of the one event I am hosting but paid a full year subscription because it was cheaper than the monthly option.
