About Construction Manager

Construction Manager caters to small and medium-sized businesses within the construction industry. It facilitates integration with Sage and Xero Accounting solutions.

Quotations and sales order processing allow users to manage quotes and pipeline in a unified platform. Businesses can track budgets for each job and view profits across each job including, purchase orders, sales applications/retentions, plant hire, WIP and CVR reporting in real-time. Organizations can stay compliant, keep subcontractors up-to-date, and automatically pull subcontractor certificates and payments as requested.

Pros

Great to be able to do the job costing or the estimates for the job before getting in it, plus it is easy to learn and use you won't need lot of time to get used to this software, also it contains a lot of things that will surely make it easier for you to use it especially the filters

Cons

The mobile app should be developed as it can be used a lot and also the cloud website makes it a little hard.

JNC made the implementation process very easy. Their support staff are experienced with Sage so were able to help in setting up new nominal codes for retention/CIS tax/etc as required.

Pros

It's very easy to use and plenty of training was provided by JNC. I like that the POs are linked to invoices, and the reports provide a lot more information than I had been getting from our previous software. Construction Manager works very well with Sage 50.

Cons

Construction Manager can only operate with 2 currencies at present so we have had to come up with work arounds for payments not in GBP or Euro.

Pros

Monitoring of purchase orders against planned spend

Cons

It takes an age to set up. the CIS module is no where near as good as Sage 50 and there is no ability to block suppliers from being used despite expired insurances.

Pros

The easy and user friendly options for the app. Associates can pick up the software better than any other software we have used in the past.

Cons

This is an excellent product. The only issue and this is a very minor insignificant issue is the paper size selection.
