About VisitLog

VisitLog is a visitor management system that assists businesses of all sizes with visitor tracking and scheduling, activities, notes, and more.

It helps users control the number of visitors, regulate the arrival and departure times of guests and automatically identify problematic visitors. VisitLog securely captures data on-premise or in the cloud to streamline visitor check-in and checkout processes, provides access control for areas within a facility, manages shift changes, and enforces required ID badges and uniforms.

VisitLog lets teams schedule recurring visits and access analytics or reports for visitor tracking and management purposes.

Pros

We found VisitLog to be highly customizable for our needs. There are many options; and the support team has been extremely helpful and willing to help us to achieve our needs.

Cons

With all of the features, it sometimes becomes hard to find the exact feature I'm looking for. I think that a bit more time spent in the interface would help me to learn the software better.

For our orginisation this replaced a pen and paper system for recording visitors and with an un-manned reception desk, provided a notification system and allowed any visitor to book in and be promptly seen.
Having Visitlog means that visitors are no longer left in reception not knowing how to get in touch with the person the are there to visit, or left unattended

Pros

Very easy to use and straight forward to setup. The confidentiality over a pen and paper setup, where any visitor could read through all previous visitors is of high priority to us and our guests. Visitlog gets away from that by not making visible to unauthorised persons all our visitor history.

Cons

The purposes for which we use the software, all of our needs are met and we do not have any negative experience in the time that we have been using it.

When it's all setup it saves time to connect the visitor with the host, give them the right information before the visit, shows information about the visitor in case of emergency to get the out quickly and easy to administrate remote for example with pre-booking visitors.

Pros

It is easy to use for the customer, saves time to contact visitor host and it is reliable with few issues.

Cons

It was a little difficult and time consuming to setup all functions to work the way we wanted.
