Pros
The platform is very user friendly. We are using this for our community and the residents love it. Also, HOA Start has a great team that quickly responds to any questions.
Cons

Our condo HOA decided that we wanted a more engaging website to communicate with our community, so we recently migrated to the HOA Start platform. We're very happy with the result. The HOA Start website platform is flexible, allowing you to create a mix of public (non-member) and private (member-only) content, and includes an amenity reservation system, custom forms, and any number of well-designed web page templates that can be used to create pages for whatever topic your community needs. Our new website has been live for 2 weeks and we've already received compliments from our homeowners about it.
What really sets HOA Start apart is the collaborative spirit of their onboarding team. They're very solution-oriented whenever we have any questions or issues. It makes a big difference when you work with a company that's invested in your success.
Pros
1. Modern feel with well-designed web page templates, allowing you to create as many web pages as you need within your site.
2. Flexibility to create a mi of public (non-member) and private (member-only) content.
3. Lots of functionality including document storage, amenity reservations, custom forms, etc.
Cons
We had no major issues with HOA Start. There were minor issues with our ability to schedule certain types of recurring meetings, set up amenity reservation schedules, etc. The HOA Start team was able to quickly confirm that these were known issues with fixes on the way, or submit them as new issues for their development team to start investigating.

If I had known that the turn around to fix certain issues would take so long, I would not have purchased the product. I was promised that we would have a good product and so far, I only have questions and headaches because the product has some critical issues.
Pros
It looks to be a very good product when it is working.
Cons
Some of the critical functions are not working and I find the support needs better support from the client.

I am a stickler for good customer service and response time. HOA Start has been excellent in those areas. Especially when they weren't understanding my questions clearly they responded quickly to get me an answer. Overall I would give them 5 out of 5 stars. Their product is excellent and I look forward to future enhancements as our needs grow. We are using the Professional version which provides all the features we currently need for our small HOA.
Pros
From the start the customer service and onboarding team have been very responsive and helpful. Starting with a zoom meeting, and allowing use of a test site prior to committing it was a very quick and easy decision to purchase their product. After purchasing an annual contract we received an onboarding menu that lead me thru the steps to going live. Having experience with setting up websites previously I still appreciated the guidance provided thru the onboarding process and became aware of new features and how to navigate them.
Cons
I can't think of any negative aspects, maybe some improvements could be made in the editing processes in the website editor but nothing I would consider a negative.
Reasons for Switching to HOA Start
I liked the look of the finished product and ease of use while experimenting with the test site. The full featured test site is not available from most of the others. Many have demos but don't allow you to test the actual product.Response from HOA Start

Our experience with HOA Start has been very positive, and they continue to add new features to the software as they get feedback from their users.
Pros
Our community has been using HOA Start for about two years and have been very happy with the software and service. The templates are tailored to HOAs, and building our site was easy - they have thought of everything an HOA needs so you don't need to build it from scratch. The site is visually very nice and professional looking. The support team is very helpful and responds quickly to questions or problems.
Cons
There has been nothing negative about HOA Start. There have been some "wish lists" for additional features, which the support team takes seriously, has worked on, and, in many cases, delivered.
