Omedym is simple for all users to set up. Simply upload all your content to the Omedym platform. We process each video and automatically index every word, making content 100% searchable. The Omedym platform then displays the videos in portals on your existing website and private portal invites. Buyers search by the topics they care about most and are taken to the exact spots in all the demos where their topics are presented.
You see every search topic, every part they’ve viewed, and everyone they’ve invited to see your video and PDF content.
In less than one minute, sales can create a personalized, private, secure portal that addresses buyer questions. They simply select the template that contains the pre-built content that matches the buyer’s needs, and can customize it as needed. One click sends an email with that unique portal link to the buyer. Omedym buyer portals connect your buyers to your solutions early in the sales process.
Our customers use templates to arrange content into reusable packages. For example: early, mid, and late in the sale cycle demos, groupings of business and technical demos, demos by product family, vertical solution content, etc. Templates are branded for each customer and contain demos, recommendations, and topic lists.
Every Omedym portal is unique to that buyer—addressing that buyer’s specific interests. Exclusive content gives the sales team the ability to extend the template content and move the prospect along to act based on insights: add a personalized welcome message, upload the last meeting recording, follow up on action items, add demos that address questions the buyer asked, answer parking lot items, etc.
When you upload video and PDF content, we automatically create a list of 2–3-word pairs based on how many times those words are spoken and where they are in the content. We call these pairs topics. From a new topic list, you simply activate the topics that best communicate your solution value proposition. Buyers are presented with this list of topics and browse to watch the video segments where they’re presented.
Just like going to a restaurant and asking the waiter for a meal recommendation, Omedym guides the early buyer with a set of recommended videos. Recommendations are easy to create by simply writing questions your buyers normally ask and tagging places in the video where these questions are answered. You can have as many questions as you want for each piece of content and multiple pieces of content are often used to answer the same question. Questions can be organized in groups such as by product, topic, vertical, etc.
To give you an accurate picture of every opportunity, it's measured by an Omedym score. That's a highly predictive number that assesses likelihood to visit the portal, engage, and buy. Our algorithm, which has been refined from thousands of prior buyer interactions, creates a weighted score from buyer visits, topics, demos, duration, search, recommendations, and content.

Pros
Love the core functionality. It's a fantastic way to share resources and additional information, then see who is engaging with it.
Cons
Set up could be better, but it's a newer tool, and they've been very receptive to feedback.

Portals for prospects

Pros
I like the ease of set up of a new portal and the ability to add and delete content and participants.
Cons
A bit clunky to use, I sometimes struggle with getting the portal how I want it, and ensuring everybody is invited. Drag and drop would be way easier.

The team from Omedym is great. True professionals. The challenge is I don't think they have actual sales reps on their team that have ever had to use a tool like this. Possibly former field sales reps from other companies, but not sales reps that currently use the product to engage a customer.
Pros
Provides a single repository for all your customer facing collateral. Having one shared space so prospective customers don't have to download large files. Analytics appear very accurate and helpful.
Cons
The name alone is hard to say when having conversations just to start. There needs to be a better space to describe what the viewer is seeing. A chat function or some sort of space where comments can be left for each file that's uploaded would be nice, thus, notifying the user that a customer just left a comment. There's also some challenges with file cover photo being cropped oddly so the viewer can't really see the title of the collateral in the jpeg. Would like to be able to crop and select the image to be seen. There's also a challenge that doesn't make sense to me as a user; templates. The templates are designed to give the person creating the shared space a general format based on what someone else in the org thinks the prospective customer should see. The "TEMPLATE" is fine, but it's very rigid and it's difficult to move access files in the repository if you're customer doesn't fit the template. Also, the oddest issue is that when you create your shared space, you initially share the content you want to shar with your customer. However, the customer can has access to the entire repository of collateral. I only want my customer to see what I want them to see. I don't need them digging around in every file we have available. I want to be able to use additional resources as touchpoints to draw the customer back into the site. Would also like to understand if they have scrolling tokens implanted into the files we share with the customer.
