I have been very impressed with the team at Luminous along with the product they offer. Last year we tried to implement another ERP system and it was a rough experience. Luminous will piggy back off of what is working for your fulfillment and it will fix what isn't. The other ERP software's haven't been nearly as agile.

Pros

One of the best things about Luminous is the support and availability they offer. It is rare to have a support team that you can communicate with so quickly. I have also enjoyed the software's SKU management style. Our products revolve around dozens of variant SKUs and Luminous has been a breeze for adding and tracking them. Another great thing is their integration capabilities. The connection with Shipstation along with being a great EDI service makes them an optimal partner when it comes to Ecommerce operations.

Cons

With any software it takes time and effort to become familiar with it. When we first got Luminous we expected them to do everything for us. However if you don't go in and start "living" in it, it won't work. This led to a slower start for us. They scheduled multiple meetings and provided trainings on how to use the system and integrate your current SKUs. Implementing the software is on the company/user to learn how to utilize it. Make sure you have a dedicated person to take ownership.

Highly recommend software and people! Hands on onboarding and support!

Pros

The ease of use, ease of set up, knowledagble people that are assisting you in the onboarding and training process. Also, the Shipstation, Amazon seller and Shopify integration and partnerships created a significant time savings for our current day to day and month end process.

Cons

Accounting side could use some work so I am excited that they are working on the accounting and mapping pieces.

Pros

Inventory tracking is sophisticated, yet simple
We have finished good inventory & raw good inventory - Luminous has been really easy to set up for both & to manage both.
Customer support has been incredible. They've held our hand & really delivered on the white-glove implementation they promised.

Cons

So far, really nothing. Adding or removing inventory in a one off manner could be simpler, but it's not been a big hinderance in our team's day to day.

We tried to use Shopify previously to manage our inventory and it ultimately wasn't sophisticated enough to manage raw goods & finished goods. It's really just set up to manage finished goods.

Quickbooks Commerce had terrible customer support and, while it probably was capable of what we needed, it was impossible to figure out. Not intuitive & no support.

Pros

Implementation process. They have a team that makes the installation process of the software very user friendly. Night and day difference from the past IMS we were using.

Cons

I honestly don't have any negative feedback at this point and time.

Pros

The team was super responsive. In addition, the product has way more features than most competition. They continue to add on as well.

Cons

Like all softwares, the verbage is slighly different. It wasn't a big deal though.
