> **Pros**: -Automatic renewal of PPM’s when they are next due based on their frequency.
-How you can filter jobs based on site, service line, status of work order etc-it’s perfection. 
- Define work order option to show all existing work orders either historic or current
- Reports section - export straight to excel is amazing
> 
> **Cons**: As soon as our engineers pause a work order on Ostara - it goes into pending authorisation out of our sight. This is where they write their findings/any needed remedials so this can be missed if the client don’t authorise work order in time.
We don’t have the option to write a private note/update/message on work orders :(

> I have genuinely never had a terrible experience with Ostara. It doesn’t run slow often or crash at all.

> **Pros**: The desktop version \& mobile app work really well, they allow for easy navigation and the features cover most aspects of what we require. When a need for a function arises that isn't covered in the system, the team are happy to work with us at finding a solution that will meet requirements.

> **Cons**: The portal is dated \& clunky. It would be beneficial if you provided a more extensive user guide for external contractors that could be passed on, I found it quite difficult to advise external contractors on portal functions that I hadn't used myself in the early days.
> 
> Overall Ostara is a solid system, its stable and the team get on top of any issues quickly should they arise. We weren't the easiest of clients to work with during the in initial setup phase, but the team were very tolerant.
