Best use for allowing subscription products

Pros
I like how customers can have the option to add recurring products to their cart and rather than take them to the checkout they can continue shopping and if they choose something else to add, its on the same checkout. Its a good flow.
Cons
Initially there seems to be a couple glitches using my responsive theme but I was able to figured it out.

So so, customer service was not super helpful when I ran into issues, and I felt very uncomfortable...
So so, customer service was not super helpful when I ran into issues, and I felt very uncomfortable trusting the order payment status shown inside of Shopify.
Perhaps these issues have now been resolved with Subscription apps using the Shopify checkout directly instead of a third party checkout page.
Pros
How quickly I was able to build, manage, and deploy my first subscription product on Shopify.
Cons
Errors I faced while using the product, such as orders with failed payments being marked as paid.

Pros
It was integrated into my shopify account pretty seamlessly, but it did not really function the way I intended.
Cons
The way it's advertised made me thing this would work for my business, but it had a lot of un-customizable things that made me not be able to use it after trying for a long time.

I have used bold with a several clients from inception and in the case of existing setup. Overall it gets the job done but there are platforms out there that do what bold does and much better. Almost all of my clients have moved on from bold.
Pros
The ease of integration and setup is ideal. Anyone can get started.
Cons
If you are looking to have a more comprehensive subscription program, this might not age well for you.
