About SimplyDesk

Simplydesk is an ITAM and ITSM software as well as a Movable Asset Management tool.

The ITSM module helps you process user requests, services and incidents in accordance with service agreements (SLAs), you'll also be able to manage a knowledge base, remote access of PCs and Servers, identify time spent on each case and discuss the quality of service with users (QoS).

The ITAM module provides an automatic and agentless scan of your company IT assets. You'll be able to manage the CMDB, equipment, software and hardware components, maintenance contracts, users, service catalogs, costs, plan the replacement of PCs, servers and printers, manage the supply of consumables and spare parts.

The movable asset management module allows you to identify and manage all types of assets, identify the asset’s location and user, trace your assets’ movements, manage lifecycles, costs, warranties, contracts and fixed assets, value your movable assets and reconcile with your fixed assets, obtain relevant statistics on the configuration of your movable assets, quickly and easily physically inventory your assets with barcode, RFID or QRcodes identification labels.

Pros

Au delà de la qualité et des nombreuses fonctionnalités de l'outil, la relation avec l'éditeur est facile et efficace : c'est très agréable ! En quelques semaines nous avons pu déployer la solution : dans un premier temps nous avons pu disposer d'un environnement de découverte sur lequel nous avons pu éprouver les paramétrages avec l'appui du support technique, puis une fois validé les usages et après avoir souscris l'abonnement la bascule sur notre propre environnement de production s'est faite très simplement.

Cons

Suggestion d'une nouvelle fonctionnalité : mises à jour hors réseau d'entreprise (mode télétravail) : Lancement d'un script à distance avec accès aux sources des update via un répertoire sur un cloud au choix serait intéressant.
