I cannot imagine filing 1099's any other way

Cons

I would have liked training in the beginning instead of having to learn by trial and error.

I've been using Tax1099 for many years and have been happy with the experience.

Pros

For a very reasonable fee, they will efile, mail and email your annual 1099s. Great since I can keep the history for multiple clients, makes filing each year easier.

Cons

Can be a bit hard to navigate and find the filings once you've submitted.

I would say it was Frustrating. It was fairly easy to use but did not submit & do as I thought I had instructed it to do by checking all the boxes. I had to call my 1099 Contract person to verify it finally sent it to him by e-mail.

Pros

I used it out of Quickbooks. However it did not populate the new 1099 Contract Venders that was set up this year. I had to manually set them up. It did remember the one set up last year.

Cons

I checked all the boxes for federal & state filings, mail delivery, email TIN Verification, the went to pay & set up Credit card. Thought it was submitted but it was not it just set up pre pay amount. I had to go back in & check everything again & it showed a payment amount & submitted this time. However it did not submit the State of Kansas as I checked. I had to go to the State of Kansas Website & manually enter the state 1099's. If I had not checked then they would not have been filed with the state though your site said it would file with the state.

Fills the void of efiling 1099s & easy to use

Pros

I like that it was easy to use and could pay as you go. This makes it easy to test out and be confident that it works for your needs.

Cons

I don't like the status tracking of a filing. Once you submit something it's not easy to know where to look and check the status.
