XCM Gets the Job Done

My experience has been positive. XCM does a good job of making sure projects don't get forgotten.

Pros

I like how detailed the user can make the workflow assignment (i.e. adding instructions, deliverables, even attachments). It's also very easy to update project information as well as add and delegate various tasks. Having a reliable way to track clients and projects is extremely vital in my industry so XCM plays a huge part in my day to day schedule.

Cons

Sometimes, because I think there's a lot of information stored for each project, the software runs slowly or there is a slight delay when information gets updated, so I wish it could run faster. I've also noticed that there are some information grids that don't get used (such as questions/comments posted and check offs). It's also another program your company has to install and employees need to keep open in addition to the data storage software. It would be a lot more convenient if XCM was capable and had a user-friendly way of storing a majority of client documents.

It maintained our workflow and allowed for questions from staff and review notes from management

Cons

IT was not easy to customize and some of the structure did not work well with our operations

Pros

I like the ease of moving projects to the different areas.

Cons

I wish we could program My View to how each individual wants to see it. I also wish we could get email notifications with any movement of projects.

Can book hours to work on each client per week and request processing to admin team.

Cons

Sometimes creating request processing is little difficult to call back if you did it wrong.
