About VisiSpecs

VisiSpecs is a suite of specification software applications developed by Chalkline for the architectural, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) market. The VisiWord and VisiRevit applications within the VisiSpecs suite are designed to visually coordinate and verify building information modeling (BIM) models, project specifications, and other construction documents.

VisiSpecs is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud solution. Its desktop and mobile applications store and access model and specification data on the company's cloud servers, enabling access and collaboration among distributed project team members. Built on familiar applications already in use by the AECO industry, VisiSpecs allows users to integrate master specifications and project documents with the project models to accomplish true BIM integration, without having to learn model applications and without a lengthy integration process.

Throughout the building lifecycle, VisiSpecs enables the transition of design preferences and data, improving project team collaboration and access to information. This results in lower building design, construction, and operation costs for owners and developers. VisiSpecs enables architects, engineers, and other designers, to improve quality, differentiate services, and reduce time and costs.
