> **Pros**: StartRisk program is a great system to manage Risk, it's perfect for all size of organisation. It's a very user-friendly system all staff can use and is not a big, complicated risk system. You can tailor to various risk classes and with the built in AI component, it allows you to consider risks that you had potentially not considered.

> **Cons**: There is nothing I dislike about the program; However, I did find taking the time to spend with both Board and Operational staff on how to read the reports is essential.

> I found the implementation and training was well supported, with both advice and training being given to all risk class owners. The most valuable approach was from the Board to organisation approach, which will ensure accountability and ownership of Risk, no other software providers if this added essential step. 
The opportunity to embed within the organisation was also a great approach which allows risk to be become 'BAU'.

The platform’s AI capability identifies risks we may not have otherwise and challenges assumptions in a way that feels constructive rather than abstract. This has strengthened our risk thinking, reduced blind spots, and helped our executive team focus on the most critical issues. The AI-driven insights provide confidence that our risk register is robust, current, and defensible.
Equally valuable is the quality of reporting. StartRisk produces clear, board‑ready reports that cut through complexity and present risk in a way that is easy to understand, yet sufficiently detailed when required. This has significantly reduced manual preparation while improving the clarity and consistency of communications to the Board and Committees.
