I love that I didn’t have to integrate it into my current EHR which can be a huge headache but it does have a EHR push feature that allows me to drop my note directly into the patient’s visit note in my EHR\! I love that they have a AI based search engine that I can clinical questions and then have Freed add that information into the patient’s note- ie patient education on side effects and proper use of a new medication. The visit summary is always so impressive- it does the hard work of making my assessment and plan very detailed and concise. I also love that Freed gives me a recap of the patient’s previous visit that I can review before I see the patient. Customer service is very responsive. > > **Cons**: I think with most dictation/transcription services, there are glitches that can happen. I recently accidentally had my computer muted for 3 visits and there wasn’t an obvious alert from Freed so it didn’t record any of those visits. I had to re-dictate them from memory which was no fun but customer service did reassure me they can figure out a way to alert the provider a bit better about that. > > Overall, FreedAI scribe has made my life so much better\! I get to be present with the patient, not having a computer in between us. I get to close my notes immediately and get the summary to the patient the same day.
