> **Pros**: Built for mining out of the box. Most simulation tools hand you a blank canvas and you burn weeks coding basic mine logic before you get near the actual problem. MineTwin already understands drifts, stopes, ore passes, muck bays, and it runs the whole mining cycle, not just haulage. Drilling, blasting, loading and hauling all interact the way they do underground. Starting a new project is more configuration now than a clean build. Import the layout from Deswik, pull the operational schedule from Excel, set your equipment and rules, and you have a working model fast. When we've needed it bent to fit a specific operation, the vendor has been responsive.

> **Cons**: It's mining-specific, so the user community is smaller than a general-purpose platform. You lean on the vendor rather than a big online community when you hit something unusual. And it's only as good as the data you feed it, so the spatial and operational inputs have to be right before you trust the numbers. There's a learning curve to all the configuration options, but it's front-loaded.

Detailed equipment functioning timelines are displayed in Gantt charts and cumulative flow charts facilitate analysis of ore flow balance.
