Sell more to the customers you already have: Zeal shows a merchant who is returning, how often and how much they spend, which is data a card machine has never given them before. Nothing changes at the counter: identification happens from the card itself, so queues do not slow down, staff do not have to ask anything, and adoption does not depend on customers downloading an app. No hardware cost and no switching cost: Zeal is software on the terminal estate a merchant already has, so there is no new device, no re-terminalising and no change of payment provider or processing rates. One integration, whole estate: for a payment provider, ISO or Payment App Vendor, a single integration covers multiple terminal manufacturers, so value-added services can be offered to every merchant on the book rather than the subset on one device type. A new revenue line and lower churn: payment companies earn from loyalty and value-added services on terminals they have already deployed, and churn prediction flags at-risk merchants early enough to act. Keep the loyalty programme you have: if a retailer already runs a loyalty engine, Zeal Loyalty Link connects it to the payment terminal rather than replacing it. Zeal Loyalty Link connects an existing loyalty engine or CRM to the terminal estate through the Zeal API, so a retailer that has already invested in a loyalty platform can extend it to card-present transactions instead of replacing it. Analytics and reporting: the Merchant Dashboard reports repeat visit rate, spend per customer, visit frequency, campaign performance and feedback captured at the terminal. The PSP Portal gives payment providers live transaction visibility across the book, merchant health scoring, churn prediction, onboarding with document collection and an AI statement scanner that reads a prospective merchant's existing statement during onboarding. Performance: the platform sustains 600 or more transactions per second and is designed to add no perceptible delay to the payment flow, which is the constraint that matters at grocery and forecourt scale. Data handling: Zeal works from tokenised references rather than raw card data, supports data export and API access for the merchant's own systems, and the payment provider or retailer remains the controller of its own merchant and customer data. Deployment: the usual path is a terminal-side integration with the payment provider or manufacturer, then remote activation per merchant ID, so individual merchants are activated without a site visit and without re-terminalising.
