Your costs stay true when supplier prices move&#10;One material sits in a dozen recipes. When wax goes up, every product containing it costs more, and nobody goes back and edits a dozen spreadsheet rows. Here the change carries through by itself, because cost is read from the lots you actually hold rather than from a figure typed in once and forgotten.&#10;&#10;You know which lot went into which batch&#10;Every delivery keeps its own price, date and expiry, and production consumes the oldest first. If a supplier recalls a lot, or a customer asks what is in the jar they bought, the chain is already recorded. For cosmetics and food that is a legal obligation rather than a nicety.&#10;&#10;Last season's numbers stay last season's&#10;A recipe version that has been used in production locks. Editing it creates a new version, so historical costs are not quietly rewritten by this year's changes and your margin history stays comparable year to year.&#10;&#10;You see what each channel actually leaves you&#10;Packaging belongs to the channel rather than the recipe, and commission is kept out of cost of goods. A candle sold from a market stall and the same candle posted from an Etsy order carry different costs, and you see both instead of one blended average that hides which is paying you.&#10;&#10;You find out before you run out&#10;The system shows how many units your current stock allows, after other planned runs have taken their reservations, and low-stock alerts arrive by email. Labour and overhead sit on the card as named expense types, entered as a fixed amount per unit or a percentage of cost or of price. A composition diagram shows the whole tree on one screen.\n\nProduction\nPlan a run and the materials are reserved. Complete it and they are written off at the real cost of the lots consumed, oldest first. At any point you can see how many units your stock allows you to build, net of what other planned runs have already reserved. Finished goods are held as lots of their own, each with its production date, expiry, recipe version and the unit cost it genuinely carried. Any lot can be sold or sent back for rework.\n\nSales and margin\nSales are recorded against a channel. Packaging is defined per channel, since a market stall needs no mailer and a posted order does, and channel commission stays out of cost of goods. The same product can show a different margin depending on where it sold. Etsy orders arrive automatically, match to the product and deduct both finished stock and packaging. A cancelled sale can put the stock back.\n\nReporting and team\nCost of goods by period, margin by product and inventory valuation, each exportable to Excel. Low-stock alerts by email. Roles for maker, stockkeeper and accountant, with departments and custom permission sets. The interface runs in English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.\n\nWhat it does not do\nNo time-based labour costing, no multi-currency, no public interface for developers, no barcode scanning, no customer invoicing and no production scheduling board.\n\nGetting started\nNo implementation project and nothing to install.
