## Overview

### Key benefits of Nidela

\* A time record that survives an inspection: nothing is ever deleted, every correction shows who made it and why, and each month exports as a PDF.
\* Ratios in real time, including the alert nobody else gives: a classroom with children and no adult inside.
\* A rota that flags the uncovered slot before the children arrive, not after.
\* Termly reports drafted from the notes the teacher already wrote, instead of a blank page.
\* Built for Spanish law and hosted in the EU: article 34.9, four-year retention, no fingerprints, no location tracking.

It is not an app for families: there is no digital diary and no photos of snack time. It covers the four things that fill a director's morning.\n\nTime tracking that holds up\nSpanish law, article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute, requires every centre to keep a daily record of each employee's hours and to keep it for four years. In Nidela each person clocks in from their phone, or from a tablet at the entrance using a PIN. No fingerprints, no location tracking. Management sees the whole day and can correct it, and a correction never overwrites anything: the original mark and the correction both stay visible, with who made the change and why. Each month exports as a PDF ready for a labour inspection, and the staff's legal representatives can be given read-only access.\n\nRatios, live\nThe classroom register is marked with one tap per child. Crossed with who has clocked in, the dashboard shows what a register alone never shows: how many adults are inside each room right now. It flags a classroom over its limit, and a classroom with children and no adult present. Ratios are configured by each centre, because in Spain the first cycle (ages 0-3) is regulated region by region, not by the State.\n\nThe rota\nStaff are assigned by classroom and time band. Cover duties rotate automatically, and any slot with nobody assigned is flagged before the children arrive. The team calendar holds duties, staff meetings, holidays and absences, without recording the reason for an absence.\n\nReports from the classroom diary\nTeachers leave short notes during the term. At the end of it, Nidela drafts each child's termly report from those notes, for the teacher to edit and approve. That is the only place where Nidela uses generative AI.\n\nHow it runs\nAn installable web app (PWA) that works on iOS and Android. It is installed from nidela.es rather than from an app store, and can also be used from any browser. Data is hosted in the European Union. Inside a centre each role sees only what it should, enforced by the system and not by a setting someone can switch off.\n\nWhat Nidela does not do\nNo app for families. No invoicing and no direct debits. No health data and no photos of children. No reason recorded for an absence. No fingerprints and no location.","image":"https://images.g2crowd.com/display-layer-screenshots/2155652/b4ba1ca829c6747d6a66fe1a9e490aa0c641fc907e9d4362680f300b6ea5b98b.webp","url":"https://www.getapp.za.com/software/2380933/nidela","@type":"SoftwareApplication","@id":"https://www.getapp.za.com/software/2380933/nidela#software","applicationCategory":"BusinessApplication","publisher":{"@id":"https://www.getapp.za.com/#organization"},"operatingSystem":"Cloud"},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"name":"Home","position":1,"item":"/","@type":"ListItem"},{"name":"Child Care Software","position":2,"item":"/directory/703/daycare/software","@type":"ListItem"},{"name":"Nidela","position":3,"item":"/software/2380933/nidela","@type":"ListItem"}],"@id":"https://www.getapp.za.com/software/2380933/nidela#breadcrumblist"}]}
