Aurea CRM - previously update.CRM - offers a range of industry and role-specific solutions with specific feature-sets to meet the needs of sales, marketing and service teams. Aurea CRM acts a personal assistant and customer management tool for sales, marketing and service teams. Sales teams benefit from the app's tasks and appointments management tools, as well as prospect analysis, comprehensive customer data, visual relationship network maps, competitor analysis and more. The CRM solution for marketing teams lets you create, track and evaluate campaigns with a multi-tier visual campaign designer and a campaign analysis tool.

For service teams, Aurea CRM lets you view all service requests through a service dashboard and the app reminds you of overdue service tasks such as routine maintenance checks. The CRM lets you create tickets for service cases, helping to source and dispatch the best technician for the job. Technicians in the field can use Aurea CRM to access live maps and documentation.

The Aurea CRM suite also includes CRM.intelligence, an integrated analytics product for complete operational analysis and reporting. You can use this product to build custom dashboards and reports to identify trends in turnover and assess staff performance. CRM.pad 2.0 gives both online and offline access to all of Aurea CRM's features through an interface that can be customized to match your brand.

Aurea's CRM software is the successor to update's CRM. Personally I have known and used the software since 1998, first as a user in various companies, today as a consultant for companies from various industries.

Pros

After the takeover of update by Aurea, the further development of the software was initially open, with some poor support. However, this has improved significantly again in recent years.

Cons

One notices the software's many years of experience with many CRM projects. The functional scope and the support of CRM processes are great, the campaign management is looking for its same, different industry templates facilitate the adaptation to individual business models. The roles and rights module allows even the most complex structures to be mapped.

Their servers were going down a lot and as a result our production was dramatically affected. Their costs were high and we found much better solutions at much lower costs.

Pros

It was hard to like anything since their reliability was so poor.

Cons

Reliability was a big issue. Their systems kept going down and impacted our e-mail sends dramatically. They took little responsibility for their issues. We had to leave at big cost because their service was so poor.

Although I am not impressed by the lack of pricing information, in terms of the solution itself – it is very good for sales teams or any team on the road servicing customers. Update has several vertical solutions for different industries – so Update will tailor the CRM program to your company and or industry. I would definitely give Update a look-see…
