Overall it was an average experience. Creating campaigns, setting up random variables to store customer related task is a bit tricky and flaky. No real time validation available for campaign setup. Trigger and test is the only option left.
Pros
Integration is easy based on rest API calls. Tester can use any API tool to initiate a campaign request easily. The way user can edit customer related market preference from a single screen using both UI and Rest API calls.
Cons
Highly dependent on FTP servers automated jobs when it comes to synching data between your app database and Responsys database. Might have a lag and sometimes data might go out of sync.

Pros
Responsys has a great delivery rate, can handle large lists and is accommodating for the different businesses we use them for.
Cons
If I could change one thing about Responsys it would be the ability to customize certain analytics.

Awful support, very rich product, not suitable for small businesses

Pros
VERY rich environment and very big set of functionalities, it is so rich it even requires an Orcale Responsys expert for the tool to be setup
Cons
awfull support, the WORST really. numerous cases where you really are in the mercy of god whether your problem will be solved or not. better hire an external team to solve your issue rather communicate with Responsys. They really don't appreciate their customers enough. The tool is very complex to setup and use. Not suitable for small businesse. it requires external team or an expert to monitor and handle the issues full time
