WeTransfer is an online file-transferring platform that allows users to send their files around the world, including large files up to 2GB for free. The WeTransfer experience is built around beautiful full-screen backgrounds, or wallpapers, many of which are adverts sold to brands worldwide. WeTransfer Plus allows users to send bigger files, get custom background images, remove transfer delete dates and personalize their WeTransfer profile.
Users simply add their files by clicking the big + button, add the email address they want to send the file to, add their own email address, and click Transfer. The WeTransfer iOS app allows users to collect pictures, movies, documents, or songs from any apps into one place. Users can organize and view on visual boards from any location, and share boards of any size with colleagues, friends or family. The Android app allows users to send files from any location on any Android phone. Users simply tap the file(s) they would like to transfer, choose "share" and select the application in the sharing options. Users can also upload files straight from their desktop via WeTransfer for Mac and share the download link.
With WeTransfer Plus, users can transfer up to 20GB at a time, whether that’s lots of small files, or one massive one. WeTransfer Plus also allows users to store up to 100GB, password protect their files, personalize their profile, choose their own background images, and customize their emails. With WeTransfer Plus, files are not deleted after a set period of time. It is simple to manage transfers, see what has been sent and when, and easily forward, resend or delete transfers.

Pros
Simplicity of use and just the fact it works, every time.
The single front page of up to 2gb files is easy to get customers to use without having them jump through a lot of hoops.
Cons
Nothing big comes to mind. We have had little to no issues running it with our team.

As soon as you pay for a subscription you'll be disappointed. Instead of a 7 day transfer expiry, now you're transfers are only 3 days unless you manually extend the expiry for each and every transfer. Then you can get more time than the 7 days, but an extra step you really don't need. The advertising says 60 days, it doesn't say 3 days and please sir, can i have some more...

Great software for document transfer

Pros
It's so easy to use. It's good knowing that I can type in the recipients email, attach a file, and in seconds they'll receive it securely and for free. It makes sending large files so simple and convenient.
Cons
Sometimes when you attach a file in the web browser, it opens the file rather than attaching it to the WeTransfer link.
