Pros
Online donation pages - eliminate the need for a third-party processor of credit card gifts and integrate the donations directly.
Cons
Events Management & Moves Management are the least utilized features in DP for us.

Pros
The wrap around support makes it so easy to onboard! From 1:1 sessions, webinars and the extensive Knowledge Base I am finding everything I need to get things up and running for my organization.
Cons
I wish there was a step by step of the order to do things in as we onboard.

Good features, but lacks smooth user experience. Only viable for full time users who can learn non-intuitive processes. Overall was one of our worst decisions. So expensive to roll out, yet we may give up and go back to our old software.
Pros
It does have strong features and integrates well once you figure it out.
Cons
We had 2 people quit because they hate the system. It basically caused a coup because the staff hated it so much due to the lack of simple controls. Want to see a list of donors? 7 clicks to generate a special report which you need to view in Excel. Want a list of donations? Likewise, 6 clicks through completely non-intuitive menus. How do you not have a 'donors' and 'donations' button on a donation database? These 'report generators' are 1990's tech, and it's driving us crazy.
It's got all the features, but feels so piecemeal - each function is a different app, and not all talk to each other.

We continue to want to learn and take advantage of all DP has to offer, and are not tempted to explore another CRM. ReadySetAuction helps us coordinate a smooth online auction every year.
Pros
DonorPerfect's customer service and training are second to none. Their knowledgeable team is patient and more than happy to answer questions. They don't rush you. If they don't know the answer, they will find out and circle back to you.
Cons
The options for DonorPerfect's forms for online giving need continued development. We choose to use a third-party that works well with DonorPerfect until DP can provide some of the same features.

I entered my position without experience working with DP but had worked with a handful of other kinds of databases. Comparatively, DP is feature rich and easy to use. I taught myself how to do basically everything on the site in a short period of time. The global update function works very well and is extremely handy. Imports are also handy but less reliable. Reports tend to work great. Overall, I've had a positive experience with DonorPerfect.
On a side note, I think the trainings y'all offer are great but I think they should come with an indication of skill level. I wasted my time and my organization's funds with a fairly basic training. There were a lot of beginners in the class that definitely benefitted but they did also slow the class down for me with a lot of basic questions.

Online forms - not customizable enough and import feature doesn't work the best. It'd be great if we could get gift flags to import from a form.
Would love to see an option to duplicate/copy gifts and donor records
The most inconvenient part of DP is that you can't have two donor records open at once and it will randomly reload to the other record without you realizing it. This has messed up my data entry on more than one occasion.
