Legal Files provides users with the ability to manage ALL types of files and matters including contracts, litigation, compliance, advice, and more. The solution offers tools for e-billing, electronic invoicing and vendor management so that users can track their resources as well as manage costs. Users can also manage their contacts, email, and generate numerous standard or customized graphical reports.
The solution’s ‘Manage My Day’ window provides a day-at-a-glance view that includes recently accessed matters or files, the day’s calendar, a to-do list, and more. The automatic notification system, ‘Heads Up’, notifies users of due dates and tasks, and any other important items or issues that should be brought to their attention.
Users can tailor menus or windows for each individual office and location, or different types of matters. The solution offers seamless integration with email services such as Outlook, Gmail, GroupWise, and Lotus Notes for intelligent profiling, and associating client cases and files to contacts. Legal Files Software Inc. also offers an iOS application that provides a portal view into the user’s database using an iPhone or iPad.

IT WAS KIND OF MEDIOCRE FOR EVERYTHING. IT SYNCED WELL WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS AND ADOBE ACROBAT.
Cons
SO DIFFICULT TO LEARN/USE (I AM PRETTY TECH SAVVY). TERRIBLE REPORTING.

Overall it gets the job done, providing essential filing services that can be shared across users and permits a variety of important controls.
Pros
Many features of this software are useful to the practice of law. It loads documents, tracks clients, tallies hours and more.
Cons
However, it is not intuitive and requires significant amount of time to learn the system compared to other software. The interface is also a bit dated, looking like something from Windows XP rather than modern day softward.

Pros
what I like the most about this software is that it facilitates our teamwork at the office because every document of every case we handle is available to everyone in the office so you don´t need to send them anything, they just need to get use to the software.
Cons
At the beggining it was not easy to understand all the features of the software but as everything it was just about time to get used to it.
