UpClear makes BluePlanner. Designed to interface with existing ERP/accounting systems, BluePlanner provides the powerful complimentary platform and reporting tools that most systems lack in the area of trade promotion. Deployed over web, BluePlanner can be accessed anywhere by both the management and accounting teams in the office and sales managers and brokers in the field. They use it daily to forecast sales, plan trade promotions, match deductions, and track results.

The initial advantage of BluePlanner is to establish cross-functional processes built around centralized information and workflows between the different departments of Sales, Finance, and Operations. BluePlanner eliminates the need for complicated spreadsheets and back-and-forth communication, saving consumer goods manufacturers time and reducing errors.

Clients optimize their trade spend through promotional evaluation, control, and post activity analysis. By building a history of promotional data, companies are able to evaluate where to best allocate their spend budget.

Pros

I liked how it incorporated both volume forecast and budget forecasts in a relatively easy way to look at it and manage it all

Cons

I think that the overall user experience could be improved. Totally understand that this is a tough ask but it's a little frustrating at times.
