Sage 50cloud Accounting (formerly Peachtree Software) is a comprehensive accounting solution for small business. It provides core functionality, such as A/R and A/P, customer management and financial reporting. Premium features, such as detailed profitability tracking, cash flow forecasting and custom reporting, come standard.
Sage 50cloud Accounting enhances user productivity with convenient, cloud connected features, such as digital invoicing, online payments, automated bank reconciliation, Microsoft Excel-based reporting, and more. Remote access allows users to work on-the-go via laptop.
The software has built-in accounting and compliance controls that maintain accuracy and prevent common errors. Security functions include suspicious transaction flagging, audit trails and user access settings. Data can be backed up locally or to the cloud.

Support and honesty is not their best asset. They are being dishonest and not honoring their perpetual licensing agreements.
Pros
Very good Accounting Software at the time of purchase, Not so any longer.
Cons
Peachtree has taken it upon themselves to deactivate perpetual licenses that I have purchased, meaning I have versions 2009, 2011, 2013, 2020 that I use for several different clients. I can no longer use these on my different computer or reactivate them on a new machine. They are trying to force me to upgrade to their cloud accounting system and I do not want my clients information on anyone's cloud. This is the primary reason I purchased Sage accounting to keep data on my own computers. Sage does not have the right to force me to keep my accounting records on a cloud not do they have the right to cancel my perpetual licenses. This action by Sage is nothing less than dishonest and is cheating the customers that the say they value. I have been using Peachtree accounting since their very first version in the early 1990s. now I have to find or write a software to fill my needs.

In general, fair. As an Admin I found the regular updates and data errors which occur from time to time a problem.
Pros
The user interface is fairly well laid out with good online documentation when there is a problem.
Cons
It is not strictly a cloud service and requires regular software updates which can be problematic when there are multiple users is the business. We used an RDS machine with multiple users logging in to overcome this. However, this does make it expensive.

Pros
If you are used to Sage is very easy to use and setup. It includes a lot of helpful features and great reporting features. Support is great.
Cons
Sometimes the loading speed is just awful (my internet connection is very fast, do not blame my side), slow loading. UI can be upgraded a little, but this is not a deal breaker.
