•Text and email updates - The tool enables users to send text message and email updates directly to their customers. It includes a link to view the repair order online for approval.
•Add photos to the repair order - Customer can view photos online and track progress.
•Vehicle issue driven - It helps the shop make sure that all customer concerns are addressed by the shop and the customer is able to see exactly what was done to correct the concern, without having to read the entire list of parts and labor and guess which ones fixed the problem.
•Complete vehicle history - Shop Boss offers vehicle repair history and all relevant details of any repair work done in the shop for any vehicle. With the ability to search for vehicle history by VIN, license number, last name, or vehicle description, Shop Boss offers a quick glance at prior repair work, as well as detailed information. Even if an owner sells their vehicle and it finds its way back to the shop, users still have all thhistorical information based on license number or VIN.
•Account tracking - It offers integration with Quickbooks that assists with tracking accounts receivables. For commercial accounts, users can post full or partial payments, as well as generate statements for collections.
•VIN explosion - Enter your customers VIN number and Shop Boss will decode and fill in the year, make, model and engine, reducing the chance of data input errors, and improves the speed of entering the information. shop Boss also assists with Zip code explosion, which is similar to VIN explosion, but completes the city, state when the correct Zip code is entered.

It's a user-friendly interface, making it easy to learn and access, with features like readily available labor time lookups, seamless integration of customer communication, and centralized management of work orders, and inventory.
Cons
A lack of flexibility and customization options within the software, particularly regarding workflows and reporting features, which can sometimes feel rigid and not adaptable to unique my business needs

At first it was a little overwhelming. With all of the different things your capable of doing with shopboss. From ordering parts yourselve to keeping up with expense reports.
Pros
That there is no mire piecing together report to see how your shop is performing. Whether your making money or losing mobey. Shopboss keeps track of it for you saving you time you would be waising on putting reports together.
Cons
So farci haven't found any 1 thing i can't tolerate about shopboss. Its everything you could ask for in a shop management siftware

No matter the computer skills you have it definitely is a good software for those who don’t know how to to use a computer as good.
