Easy and inexpensive payroll system

Pros
This payroll system is easy to use, especially if you have remote workers in different states. It’s great for a small business, everything is online and it offers easy access for employees to track their pay.
Cons
We miss typed a tax ID number when we originally set up our program and the amount of numbers was even incorrect, but the system let me put it in and it causes issues with our first tax file for the year. We were able to resolve the issue, but I would have hoped for their to be checks in place to avoid these errors at set up from being possible.

I have been using it for several years. We took a break when we moved and didn't have child care....
I have been using it for several years. We took a break when we moved and didn't have child care. It was frustrating but I came back since the functionality is easy and compared to private nanny tax companies or their competition they are priced right and I have only run into 2 issues in all these years.
Pros
They don't charge for adding or removing people. It's easy to use for paying once you set it up and I have 1 person and it's a weekly pay check.
Cons
I could not get the system to work for us when we moved. I did all the address changes with the govt and it never showed up. I had to start over when we moved to a new state. so moving was not a good experience for me. There have been a few times when payments were not paid on time to the state for quarterly taxes. When this happened, it was difficult to resolve and the support made it seem as if it was my fault not theirs. They do not help you setup your state when you move and so that in of itself was painful and kept me from setting up earlier.

Pros
Nothing - I've called their customer service 6+ times this week and they are no help.
Cons
I used Surepayroll in 2022 and recently heard from the IRS that Surepayroll hasn't submitted my tax dollars. I am now chasing/begging Surepayroll to help locate the missing money.

I'm extremely happy with my choice for payroll. The cost was about the lowest I saw for our organization but it provides options and features that much more expensive software didn't have.
Pros
[sensitive content hidden] was extremely helpful in getting everything set up for my client. He has continued to keep in touch to make sure I am getting everything that I need. Super customer service!
The software is easy to use and allows quite a bit of flexibility. There are tons of features that I don't even use but it could handle much larger and complex organizations that what I am working with.
Cons
The location of some of the reporting on the webpage took a little bit to figure out and I still have to go searching a bit. Using the software to get payroll in was easy and straightforward. The reports afterwards not so straightforward.
